Trường hợp của cô gái Nguyễn Thị Thảo My (22 tuổi, Vũng Tàu) sau phẫu thuật hàm hô được xem là một trong những minh chứng thiết thực cho quan điểm: “Không có người phụ nữ xấu chỉ có người phụ nữ chưa thực hiện phẫu thuật thẩm mỹ”.

Vốn sinh ra và lớn lên trong một gia đình làm nông, thuộc diện khó khăn của tỉnh Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, Thảo My luôn mang trong mình đầy rẫy nỗi niềm không thể nói cùng ai. Từ tấm bé, cô gái tuổi 22 đã mắc phải khuyết điểm hàm hô nặng cùng cười hở lợi và thường xuyên bị bạn bè trêu chọc là “nạo dừa” hay My thỏ (vì răng đưa ra trông rất giống Thỏ).
Mỹ tâm sự: ” Khi còn đi học, bạn bè thường trêu chọc là cô gái nạo dừa hay My thỏ vì khuyết điểm hàm hô quá nặng. Trong khi bạn bè thoải mái đùa giỡn thì em luôn khép mình và không muốn giao tiếp với ai. Thậm chí cho đến bây giờ em không có lấy một người bạn thời sinh viên”.
Thảo My vốn sở hữu hàm răng hô “vượt mặt” trước phẫu thuật
Mặc dù, hoàn cảnh gia đình có phần khó khăn nhưng My cũng cố gắng học tập và cầm trên tay tấm bằng Tốt nghiệp loại Khá của trường Cao đẳng Công Thương TP.HCM. Tuy nhiên, khuyết điểm hàm hô cộng với cười hở lợi nặng đã khiến cô gái trẻ nhiều lần bị từ chối công việc yêu thích. Đi đến đâu, Thảo My cũng nhận được những cái lắc đầu vì công việc Quản trị kinh doanh ngoài năng lực học còn cần đến ngoại hình. Đó là lý do mà trong độ tuổi đẹp nhất đời người, thay vì vui vẻ và thực hiện ước mơ hoài bão của mình, Thảo My luôn đau đáu một nỗi lo mang tên “ngoại hình”.
Thay đổi ngoại hình để “thoát nghèo”
Gia cảnh khốn khó càng giúp My mạnh mẽ và can trường hơn. Từ nhỏ, giấc mơ phẫu thuật hàm hô để thay đổi ngoại hình luôn nung nấu trong My. Nó còn là một trong những lý do quan trọng giúp cô gái trẻ có một công việc ổn định và cải thiện kinh tế gia đình. Song, vì gia đình quá khó khăn và chi phí phẫu thuật chỉnh hàm hô là rất cao, với cô gái trẻ đây là ước mơ không tưởng.
Qua tìm hiểu My biết đến bệnh viện thẩm mỹ JW Hàn Quốc có tổ chức chương trình “Chia nụ cười sẻ cảm thông” lần 2 năm 2017. Cô gái quê gốc Vũng Tàu quyết định viết tâm thư gửi đến chương trình, như một lời tâm sự từ trái tim với mong muốn được hỗ trợ chi phí thực hiện phẫu thuật hàm hô.
Phần nào thấu hiểu được hoàn cảnh của Thảo My, bệnh viện thẩm mỹ JW Hàn Quốc đã đến thăm nhà và quyết định hỗ trợ 50% chi phí ca phẫu thuật, tạo cơ hội cho My sở hữu ngoại hình ưa nhìn và tiếp tục giấc mơ “thoát nghèo” cho gia đình mình.
Theo TS.BS Nguyễn Phan Tú Dung – Giám đốc bệnh viện nhận định: “Trường hợp Thảo My mắc khuyết điểm hàm hô khá nặng kèm hở lợi. Để khắc phục hiệu quả nhược điểm này, chúng tôi buộc phải cắt xương hàm trên, đẩy lùi về sau. Đồng thời, chữa cười hở lợi trong một lần thực hiện”.
Ngoại hình hoàn thiện đến bất ngờ
Trải qua 2h đồng phẫu thuật hàm hô, Thảo My hoàn toàn “biến” thành một người khác, cô gái trẻ như vỡ oà cảm xúc khi thấy mình trong gương. Đặc biệt, khi Thảo My quay về nhà không một ai trong gia đình ra cô gái của ngày nào. Lúc này, cô biết mình đã thật sự thay đổi.
Hầu hết, bà con hàng xóm, bạn bè từng biết My bị hàm hô đều tỏ ra bất ngờ và không thể lý giải được tại sao “My nạo dừa” lại thay đổi như vậy. Đến đây, Thảo My phấn khởi chia sẻ: “Nhiều người cứ hỏi em là phẫu thuật toàn diện phải không? Sao nhìn trẻ trung quá vậy. Một số người khen đẹp lên rất nhiều nhưng họ không tin em đã phẫu thuật thẩm mỹ. Đặc biệt hơn hết ai cũng thắc mắc tại sao phẫu thuật mà không nhìn thấy sẹo”.
Sau hơn 2 tháng thực hiện phẫu thuật hàm hô tại bệnh viện thẩm mỹ JW Hàn Quốc, giờ đây Thảo My đã hoàn toàn tự tin với diện mạo hiện tại. Từ một cô sinh viên nghèo, rụt rè nhút nhát My hiện đang là nhân viên kinh doanh của một công ty Bất động sản tại TP.HCM. Với ngoại hình xinh xắn phần nào đã giúp My hoà nhập rất nhanh với công việc hiện tại.

Trở lại JW vào một ngày không xa, My tâm sự hiện tại cô được rất nhiều phái mạnh tỏ tình và đây là hoàn toàn điều không tưởng của Thảo My trước kia. Cô cũng không quên gửi lời cảm ơn đến bệnh viện thẩm mỹ JW Hàn Quốc đã giúp cô “hiện thực hoá” giấc mơ thay đổi ngoại hình.
